Orifice Flange

Lapped Joint Flange

Emcor Engineering offers a range of lap joint pipe flanges in various materials and sizes to suit client needs. These flanges feature a two-piece design, requiring butt welding of the stub end to the pipe using a backing flange. This design is ideal for space-constrained systems and those requiring frequent maintenance. Materials include Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel, and duplex Steel. Lap Joint Flanges share common dimensions with other flanges but lack a raised face. They closely resemble Slip On flanges with a bore intersection radius for the Stub End. However, their pressure-holding capability is similar to Slip On flanges, and the assembly’s fatigue life is one-tenth that of Welding Neck flanges.

Slipon Flange
